I think that this is my most successful image because it captures the different colored lighting well. I used this photo to illustrate analogous colors. The most difficult part of this assignment was finding interesting things to photograph. I had some opportunities to take more interesting pictures (like this one) because of certain events I attended, but I found it challenging to find exciting things to photograph in my daily life. In the future, I'll create stronger images by exploring different angles when photographing and going to new places for inspiration.

"Hey Erin, I think this is a great photo! My attention was drawn right to the bird, and think that this is a good use of negative space. I also love how clear of a photo you managed to take--the water reflecting the bird looks almost surreal. I think the contrast between the bird and the background is good, but I wonder if there's anything else you can do to make it stand out a bit more. Maybe play with settings/filters to create a more dramatic contrast and see how it affects the image. Overall, great job! :)"

I really liked this photo. It is really cool how the colors came from the lighting. I think it makes it very dramatic and interesting to look at. It definitely exudes the feeling of being at the concert. The way the spotlight illuminates part of the stage and crowd is super interesting and draws the eye. I can see how it represents analogous colors, although I feel like the red dominates the yellow a bit because there is so much of it which makes the contrast between the colors less significant. Overall you did a great job and had awesome photos!

Hi Alexandra, your photography for this challenge really stood out to me! Not only was I drawn to how you organized your photography, but I love the range in photos taken. Reading how you also experienced challenges in figuring out what to photograph resonated with me, because I also experienced challenges in this area. Hi Alexandra, I love your photo! The lights coming from all different angles make the picture so dynamic and interesting, and the analogous red and yellow colors from the lights make the photo cohesive and easy to look at. This photo made me feel happy, simply because it reminded me of what a fun concert atmosphere feels like. The angle it was taken from made me feel like I was part of the crowd, while I feel like most professional concert photos highlight the artists well, but don't give me that feeling of actually being at the concert like yours did.
